I don't even have to cast a single spell or use a single socalled skill anymore since I created my heroes builds. I can either go along with just 3 heroes for the majority of the content or bring in the other 4 henchies for harder stuff. Skill in this game is a joke anymore there is no longer skill required.

Been there, done that. I used to think that way when I was a NM noob.
Then I got to the stage where I needed to clear some of the elite areas in HM like HM DoA and HM UW with heroes using both my accounts.

Eh. I'm only playing again to sell off all my crap on all my toons, and storage. I might play some dungeons again for old time's sake, or make a UW run or FoW run for fun at some point. But I left my guild as everyone else did, and it auto-promoted me to leader. (ha ha. awesome.)
Maybe i'll actually try and get FoW armour again since I never did get it. But that's a lot of grind time, and that'll cut into my irl time. :P

I started playing again last month after... I don't know how long. Been at least a year.
HoM actually had nothing to do with me coming back. Was looking at the GW2 site and got that "remember when" feeling.

Summary of his stance on 7 heroes: One issue with 7 hero teams was the idea of pvp teams of 1 person and 7 heroes. Says he does not believe that is an issue anymore and that 7 hero teams wouldn't hurt anyone, and how hard some stuff was with henchmen. He's open to 7 hero teams, but says they're also working on something new involving heroes

It's true, it feels more active and I guess that is cool. I am 100% sure though that I like it when it is quieter. My alliance in GW2 will definitely be playing on a lightly populated server. Less town spam makes for more immersion and more stuff for us to do as a group in the open world without having to deal with the problems that come with randoms running around mucking things up on purpose.

Thumbs up for comparing GW to the bible XD
I don't have time for GW these days, so I just use my 40 points. That's all the item rewards anyways ^^

I have owned all 3 games for over a year (factions for 3 years, prophecies for 2 years, and Nightfall for a year) and I am FINALLY playing the game.
Given that I do not have EotN and have no Hall of Monuments that doesnt effect me in the slightest. And with a new vid card so my game doesnt CRASH every 10 minutes I can actually enjoy myself. So I will be stickin around.

Answer to the thread : it dragged few pvp players left to pve so they can get points for HoM. But clearly didn't shocked gw back ( you will see that in 2-3 weeks after 2/3 of players got 50/50)

TBH, The game has changed quite a bit since most people uninstalled it. I think some of them are coming back for more than a few weeks once they see all the other things worth working towards (like more storage & Matured PvE guilds)
